Once educational institutions, government agencies, and other businesses sign on to use Google Cloud products, you come in to facilitate making their work more productive, mobile, and collaborative. You listen and deliver what is most helpful for the customer. You assist fellow sales Googlers by problem-solving key technical issues for our customers. You liaise with the product marketing management and engineering teams to stay on top of industry trends and devise enhancements to Google Cloud products.

The Google Cloud Platform team helps clients transform and evolve their businesses through the use of our global network, web-scale data centers, and software infrastructure. In this role, you will help shape the future of businesses of all sizes, using technology to connect with customers, employees, and partners. As a member of Looker's Sales Development team, you will be a technical advocate for customers. You will work to understand customer needs and demonstrate how Looker can add value to their data workflows. You will partner with business counterparts to expand relationships and cultivate business growth. You will help shape our product roadmap based on the needs of customers and expand your knowledge in data discovery and analysis.

Looker is a unified platform that powers data experiences and delivers actionable business insights to employees at the point of decision. Looker integrates data into the daily workflows of users to allow organizations to extract value from data at web-scale.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Experience in virtualization or Cloud architectures in a customer-facing or support role
Experience in performing technical presentations or public speaking

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Development, Mathematics, or a related technical field
Experience with Business Intelligence tools with a physical model
Experience with Looker
Experience responding to functional and technical elements of Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
Experience in data modeling and numerical analysis
Develop customized presentations, demonstrations, and prototypes of our software to articulate use cases and value to customers.
Participate in promoting the value of Looker’s products using multiple channels, including phone, presentation, and live online and in-person product demonstrations.
Manage customer trials, ensuring engagement with products, trials, and resulting solutions.
Articulate and educate a variety of audiences (e.g., developers, architects, and IT professionals) on technical and architectural concepts.
Respond to functional and technical elements of RFPs, leveraging and building on existing knowledge.
