PCPS Inc. is in search of a motivated and enthusiastic candidate for its Associate Field Technician position. The individual in this role will perform entry-level Field Services duties to gain knowledge and understanding of installation of fiberglass, concrete repair and coatings in various industries. Under supervision, the Associate Field Technician will work together with team members to complete the various service processes in a safe and expedient manner to prevent unnecessary down time for our clients and their operations.

-Responsibilities-

Essential duties of the position include:• Overnight travel when required.

• Load/Unload PCPS Inc. vehiclewith proper equipment/productsfor specific job assignment

• Ability to drive PCPS Inc.vehicle(s); including Forklift; Pickup Trucks, Box Truck; etc.

• Works with various chemicals andmaterials including but notlimited to fiberglass, concrete,epoxy, PVC among many others.

• Proper cleaning and operation of PCPS Inc. equipment.

• Handle multiple taskssimultaneously.

• Comply with all safety policies,practices and procedures.

• Other duties as assigned by Project Manager.

-Technical Requirements-

Necessary technical skills and abilities include:• Ability to read and understandwork instructions, documents,correspondence, and memos.

• Effective communication skillswhich include verbal and writtenin English.

• Ability to perform basicmathematical functions –compute rate, ratio, and percent.

-Environment/Setting-

Typical work environment and setting:• While performing the duties ofthis job, the employee isoccasionally exposed to movingmechanical parts.

• Noisy conditions periodically.

• Wet or humid conditions(indoors).

• Working on ladders, rooftops,bucket trucks, scaffolding, etc.

• Improperly illuminated andconfining workspace.

-Physical Requirements-

This is a physical job that requires the following skills:• Ability to operate and lift weight-bearing equipment that canweigh up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to wear a respirator asneeded and/or required based onassignment.

• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for differentchemical processes as necessary.

• Standing, walking, reaching withhands and arms, climb andbalance, stoop, kneel, crouch orcrawl.

-Qualifications-• High school or equivalent(Required).

• Driver's License (Required)Ideally a candidate will have hadtraining and certification forsome/all the following: WHMIS Working at Heights Confined Space Entry Confined Space Rescue Half-face and Full-face Fit Tests
