PROPAK ENERGY SERVICES , a division of Propak Systems LTD. with over 45 years’ experience designing, fabricating and constructing modularized gas and oil processing facilities, compression and power generation equipment. Propak Energy Services operates a multi branch service network across Western Canada and the Rocky Mountain States. Propak is authorized to sell and service Waukesha and Caterpillar engines as well as Ariel, Mycom, Cooper, Dresser-Rand, Gemini, Sullair and Howden compressors.

We are currently seeking a Journeyman Partsperson to provide assistance with quoting, and exemplary customer service to all customers internal and external while processing inquiries and parts orders.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide exemplary customer service to all internal and external customers;
Receive and interpret parts inquiries and orders for price, nomenclature, and parts verification for equipment or package items;
Inform customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any pertinent information;
Create parts demand and communicate with Material Handlers for order entry;
Assist inventory control when orders deplete stock or adjustments to inventory are required;
Initiate purchase requisitions for out of stock material;
Establish and maintain guidelines for pricing, discounts, global contracts, or agreements;
Maintain quality relations with customers during complaint processes;
Incorporate suggestive selling techniques for additional sales;
Gather data to prepare reports for management;
Review and understand the terms and conditions on customer purchase orders;
Assist with quoting and prepare and enter parts quotes;
Understand warranty terms consistent with product line.


3+ years of parts related experience within the natural gas industry
Journeyman Partsperson certification would be an asset
Parts experience related to the natural gas industry
Process and Gas Compression Parts experience is an asset
Customer service skills and good communication skills
Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with internal and external customers
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong organizational skills
Ability to prioritize tasks
Physically able to lift heavy loads
A clean driving record: 5 year drivers abstract is required
Strong skills with the Microsoft Office suite of programs

Trade Journeyman or better in Parts Technician or related field.
