About the Role We’re looking for an AWS Cloud Enterprise Architect who thrives on design and collaboration.
This role is less about day-to-day administration and more about shaping the blueprint of our cloud landscape.
You’ll be responsible for designing secure, scalable, and resilient solutions in Amazon Web Services (AWS), creating high-quality documentation, and partnering closely with our Dev Sec Ops team to ensure seamless delivery and governance What You’ll Do Lead the design of cloud architectures across AWS core services, with a focus on scalability, resilience, and compliance.
Translate complex business and security requirements into clear, actionable cloud designs.
Develop and maintain detailed architecture diagrams, standards, and technical documentation that guide engineers and stakeholders.
Collaborate with Dev Sec Ops engineers to embed security, compliance, and automation into every stage of the solution lifecycle.
Provide architectural oversight on cloud deployments, ensuring designs are implemented correctly and consistently.
Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and project teams, advocating for cloud best practices and cost optimization strategies.
What We’re Looking For Deep expertise across AWS core services: VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Cloud Watch, and security services.
Strong background with AWS application services: Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, and the ability to integrate them into broader solution designs.
Proven experience working with Dev Sec Ops or platform engineering teams, especially around CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and security automation.
Solid understanding of cloud governance frameworks (e.g., policies, IAM roles, cost controls).
Hands-on knowledge of AWS-native tools: Cloud Formation, Terraform, AWS Code Pipeline or Git Hub Actions, and monitoring solutions.
Excellent written communication skills; able to produce diagrams, decision trees, and design docs that teams can rely on.
A mindset oriented towards collaboration, mentorship, and cross-functional influence.
Nice to Have Familiarity with regulated industry frameworks (CMMC, Fed RAMP, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.).
Experience with multi-region designs, disaster recovery patterns, and hybrid connectivity.
Prior work as part of an engineering team.
Exposure to advanced serverless and integration patterns, such as Step Functions, Event Bridge, or SQS/SNS.
