Hays has partnered with a full-service architecture & interior design firm specializing in hospitality and interiors projects who is looking for a Production Lead/ Senior Architectural Technologist to join their team. Their portfolio showcases a diverse range of projects across North America, each one created by a collaborative team of creative individuals. This firm works as a coercive team who take great pride in their work and are focused on an approach that is contemporary and inspires those who use the space. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on detailing and mentoring a team. *this is an in office position



Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation and coordination of construction documents across multiple projects
Ensure consistency, quality, and accuracy of Auto CAD drawings in accordance with office standards
Develop, maintain, and enforce CAD standards, templates, and best practices
Resolve complex technical and constructability issues in coordination with architects and consultants
Review drawings for quality control prior to issuance
Lead, mentor, and support a team of architectural technologists and production staff
Assign tasks, manage workloads, and support project scheduling and delivery
Provide technical guidance, training, and feedback to team members
Support best practices around documentation processes and collaboration
Work closely with Architects and consultants to support efficient project delivery
Assist with consultant coordination and integration of multi-disciplinary documents
Contribute to project planning, resourcing, and production strategies
Support projects through all phases: schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration



Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of architectural / interiors experience.
Prior hospitality, interior design and tenant improvement experience is required.
Architectural Technology Diploma or equivalent.
Strong proficiency Auto CAD, experience with Revit is an asset.
Demonstrated experience leading technologists or production teams.
Experience managing a project from conception to completion is required.
Team player, have excellent attention to detail and strong communications skills.



The successful candidate will receive an attractive compensation package $90,000 - $105,000, extended benefits and a flexible working environment. A great opportunity for someone that is wanting to work in a multi-faceted position on a smaller team.
