Summary: The Specialized Caregivers Support to provide after-school care to a child with special needs (CYSN) in Lumby, BC. Building and maintaining healthy relationships with our Persons Served through a trauma-informed practice is the core of our work. You will promote a positive and healthy environment that supports our persons served towards achieving educational, social, and recreational goals while focusing on daily life skills development. In this program, the successful candidate will provide after-school support to an autistic child who struggles with emotional regulation, and behavioral challenges, and will require personal care support.
